Just 250 m from a pebble beach, Adelais is located in Tavronitis. The village has a couple of supermarkets, a cake shop, and a few tavernas and cafes. The highly developed resort of Platanias is just a few minutes’ drive to the east.  Tavronitis is the junction for roads leading south, east and west of the island thus making it a great starting point for exploring beautiful western Crete whether your interest be sightseeing, archaeological, water sports, walking, cycling or simply relaxing and enjoying some of the wonderful beaches.
